The University of the District of Columbia Awarded dp+partners and FEI Contractors to Design and Build an Urban Aquaponic System and Hoop Houses on four different sites throughout the District of Columbia. A Aquaponic system, is a closed loop system that produce fish and vegetables. This system combined in a hoop house is expected to generate 500 lbs. of fish and 5,000 lbs. of produce annually.Dp+partners continue to stay in forefront of sustainable architecture and environment.
